The questions we hear most
How do we get started once we know what candidates we need?
Simply provide us with your requirements. We source, screen and present candidate profiles that meet them; you review the profiles and decide whom to interview. Once you have selected your candidates, we manage the employment contract and administrative onboarding, while all operational management remains with you.
Can our Varde-contracted team members work in our time zone?
Tashkent operates on GMT+5, only 3–4 hours ahead of Central Europe, which allows a standard working-day overlap of 5–6 hours with European teams. For teams in the United States, our candidates can work flexible shifts to align with East Coast or West Coast hours. Working schedules are agreed with each candidate during the recruitment process.
Do your candidates speak English?
Yes. Language proficiency is assessed during screening, and we present only candidates whose English meets the requirements of the role. Upon request, we can also source candidates fluent in additional languages, including German, Korean, Chinese and Russian. Uzbekistan's younger professionals are increasingly English-proficient, particularly in the IT sector.
Can we contact and manage team members directly?
Yes, fully. You manage your team members exactly as you manage your own employees — with your tools, your meetings and your KPIs. Varde Group handles only the legal employment and administrative layer.
Can team members visit our offices abroad?
Yes, this is entirely at your discretion. Visa, travel and accommodation costs are covered by you in addition to the monthly fee, and we provide support with the required documentation on the Uzbek side.
What about public holidays?
We provide the Uzbek public holiday calendar at onboarding and notify you in advance of any additional holidays announced by the government. Total annual time off is comparable to European standards.
Can we give bonuses or incentives directly?
Yes. Bonuses and incentives are transferred through Varde Group and paid out to the team member in full compliance with Uzbek tax and labour regulations.
What are the payment terms?
We charge a fixed monthly fee per team member, payable in advance, along with a one-time deposit at contract start to cover equipment. Advance payment enables us to pay salaries on time and ensures your team's full commitment. Our pricing is fully transparent, with no hidden fees.
Can we terminate the service immediately?
We require two months' written notice prior to the intended termination date. This period is necessary for us to conclude the employment relationship on our side in compliance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
